Children's Musical Theatre & Acting

Our Musical Theatre and Acting Program prepares students with the skills needed to either enter college as a theatre major or pursue a career as a professional singer, dancer, and actor.

Students will learn contemporary vocal techniques to build their vocal skills safely. A solid acting technique is taught that will help young actors break down a script and deliver a truthful, organic performance. Dance terminology and choreography, movement skills, and relaxation techniques are taught in each class to equip young musical theatre performers with the strength to move with grace and ease.

Professional dancer, singer, and actress, Alexa Lane, instructs the program. She is a member of the theatrical unions Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA and has performed in a variety of productions on stage and screen. She creates a nurturing environment so that all artists can explore their fullest potential.
