Master Pilates Trainer
Jennifer Mongeluzo has a bachelor’s degree in dance from the University of Michigan, Jennifer began her career in the New York area as a fitness instructor. She taught at prestigious New York health clubs, including Crunch, New York Sports Club, Synergy, Vertical Club and Equinox. In 1998, she moved to Aspen, Colorado, where she was an instructor at The Aspen Athletic Club, The Aspen Club and Snowmass Club. Jennifer later rejoined the Equinox team of the metropolitan area and managed the Pilates studio at the Mamaroneck, New York club. She also taught a variety of unique group fitness classes while there, including Bosu Boot Camp, Pilates Mat and Sport, Cycling and Body Conditioning.
An avid marathon runner and cyclist herself, Jennifer has a deep understanding of the relationship between Pilates and endurance training. Jennifer is currently training in Muay Thai, otherwise known as Thai Boxing. She is learning to harness this Southeast Asian martial art form by incorporating the ‘eight points of contact’ philosophy into her own holistic training methods. Jennifer is also an amateur boxer.
